DSC 410/510 - Multivariate Statistical Methods
Assignment 15 (deadline: 9am on Monday, November 22)
Practical matters
Personalities example:
Complete the Personalities Excel spreadsheet on the data page and e-mail it to ipardoe at
lcbmail.uoregon.edu.
Note that the spreadsheet contains a table with six
personalities as the columns and five personal attributes as the
rows. Fill in the 30 yellow cells in the table with 1's and 0's. "1"
means you regard that personality as possessing the
corresponding attribute in abundance. "0" means you regard that
personality as not particularly strong on that attribute (although
they may possess the attribute to some degree). As a rough guide try
to put two or three 1's in each column (but don't let that stop you
putting four 0's or four 1's if you feel it is warranted in some
cases).
Ask 2 friends to complete a table also.
