Practical matters

Restaurant example:

• Fill in the Restaurant Excel spreadsheet on the data page and e-mail it to ipardoe at lcbmail.uoregon.edu.
• Note that the numbers you insert should represent your perception of how similar you think each pair of restaurants is on a scale from 1 to 9, where 1 means "very similar" and 9 means "not at all similar." (This is not like the candy bar example where the pairs were ordered from most similar to least similar.)
• If there are any restaurants in the list that you are not familiar with, just use your best judgment when comparing them with the others, e.g. the name might help you.
