• Pages 173-195 (Chapter 5 - Model building II - Sections 5.2-5.5) of the textbook.

Exercises to turn in

• This is the final graded assignment, and it is to be completed individually, not in groups. You can discuss it within your group, but everyone must turn in their own write-up (which cannot be copied from anyone else). Any write-ups found to be exact (or near exact) copies will result in zero points for this assignment for both parties.
• Due by beginning of class on Wednesday, week 10.
• Remember when using SPSS to first change the "Options" (if necessary) to display variable names (in alphabetical order) rather than labels in dialog boxes, to show variable names rather than labels in output tables, and to display small numbers in tables without using scientific notation.

• Exercise 5.3 (page 198).

• You'll need the UBS data file.
