• Pages 93-105 (Chapter 3 - Multiple linear regression - Sections 3.3.4-3.3.5) of the textbook. Leave sections 3.4-3.7 to read next week for assignment 7.
• Pages 121-146 (Chapter 4 - Model building I - Sections 4.1-4.2) of the textbook.

Exercises to turn in

• Due by beginning of class on Monday, week 8.
• Remember when using SPSS to first change the "Options" (if necessary) to display variable names (in alphabetical order) rather than labels in dialog boxes, to show variable names rather than labels in output tables, and to display small numbers in tables without using scientific notation.

• Exercise 3.3 (page 117) - 9 points,
• Exercise 4.1 (page 160) - 6 points,
• Exercise 4.5 (page 161) - 5 points.

• You'll need the WATEROIL and NYJUICE data files.
