Reading

• Pages 60-69 (Chapter 2 - Simple linear regression - Sections 2.6-2.7) of the textbook.
• Pages 73-93 (Chapter 3 - Multiple linear regression - Sections 3.1-3.3.3) of the textbook.

Exercises to turn in

• Due by beginning of class on Monday, week 7.
• Remember when using SPSS to first change the "Options" (if necessary) to display variable names (in alphabetical order) rather than labels in dialog boxes, to show variable names rather than labels in output tables, and to display small numbers in tables without using scientific notation.

• Exercise 2.7 (page 72) - 6 points,
• Exercise 3.1 (page 116) - 4 points,
• Exercise 3.5 (page 118) - 10 points.

• You'll need the CARS2 and WATEROIL data files.
