Pages 40-60 (Chapter 2 - Simple linear regression - Sections 2.3-2.5) of the textbook.

Exercises to turn in

• Due by beginning of class on Monday, week 5.
• Remember when using SPSS to first change the "Options" (if necessary) to display variable names (in alphabetical order) rather than labels in dialog boxes, to show variable names rather than labels in output tables, and to display small numbers in tables without using scientific notation.

• Exercise 2.3 (page 71) - 12 points,
• Exercise 2.5 (page 72) - 8 points.

• You'll need the ELECTRICITY and CARS2 data files.
