Pages 1-17 (Chapter 1 - Foundations - Sections 1.1-1.5) of the textbook.

Exercises to turn in

• Due by beginning of class on Monday, week 3.
• Remember when using SPSS to first change the "Options" (if necessary) to display variable names (in alphabetical order) rather than labels in dialog boxes, to show variable names rather than labels in output tables, and to display small numbers in tables without using scientific notation.

• Exercise 1.1 (page 27) - 8 points,
• Exercise 1.3 (page 27) - 7 points,
• Exercise 1.5 (page 28) - 5 points.

• You'll need the QB and MBA data files.
